To begin your Wildlife Safari Tour, we will arrange to pick you up from your hotel or vacation rental. You will embark on a picturesque journey through the rustic Costa Rican backroads, passing charming villages, until we reach the breathtaking Llanos del Cortez waterfall. With a gentle walk, you will descend to the base of the waterfall, where you can admire its unique beauty, take a refreshing swim, and capture some unforgettable photos.

Continuing this incredible experience, our friendly guides and family will take you on a river safari tour. As you float along the river, you will be surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for monkeys, a variety of birds, crocodiles, and the famous Basilisk lizards, often referred to as Jesus lizards. After about two hours on the river, we will take you to a local restaurant where you can enjoy our traditional Casado dish, a delicious meal that showcases the flavors of Costa Rica.

The final highlight of our tour, and perhaps the most beloved by our customers, is a visit to a family-owned farm. Here, you are guaranteed to see more than three sloths during a relaxed and easy 30 to 45-minute hike. Along the way, you may also spot a red-eyed frog, dart poison frog, toucans, and white-faced monkeys. Please note that these animals are in their natural habitat, so sightings of toucans and white-faced monkeys are not guaranteed. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit a butterfly garden, where you can marvel at the beauty of our most popular butterflies, including the stunning Blue Morpho.
